Directions

From Cambridge:

Take route 2 west

At first traffic light on route 2, take left to

Bedford Road/ Lincoln Center (exit is

actually second right after the light)

Drive straight to Lincoln, cross the railway

and past the fire station

At next crossroad, take left on route 117 for

about 0.25 mile.

Take second entrance is on the right (sign)

– the first entrance is one-way

From Boston:

Take I-95/route 128

At exit 26, take route 20 east

Take left at traffic light and follow signs for

route 117

At traffic light, take left on route 117 west

Entrance is about 0.5 mile on the left after

crossing the railway (sign)

Drumlin farm is an operating farm managed by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. At the farm, you will see cows, horses, sheep and goats, pigs, and poultry and well as crop fields. The farm is well spread out, with different buildings and areas for each animal.

In addition to seeing animals and a real farm environment, you can walk along several trails, the longest being the Drumlin Trail, that mostly extends southwest of the farm. To take the trail, walk past the farm after admission, and take the trail to your right.

Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours to tour the farm and have a walk in its surroundings.

There is another smaller farm in the area named Codman community farm. That farm has no entrance fee and operates a very small farmers market on Saturday morning..
