Situated on a small hill in Lincoln's preserved environment, Pierce House's park blends the features of a large meadow, a New England green and a small wood. Landscaped to please the eye while still looking natural, this is definitely one of the quietest areas around Boston to get away from the frenzy of life.

Considering that you will probably have the place for yourself, the park gives a comfortable impression of space - like being in your own huge backyard. If you're in the mood for a bit of exercise, you can also walk around the park (there is no trail – walk across the grass): follow the stone wall up towards the main road, then turn left towards the tree line and the adjacent soccer field and come back behind the small pond near the house; you can also take the hiking trail starting at the parking lot to enter to woods.

The park is unusually clean, allowing you to stretch and lie on the grass without afterthoughts. Do your share and make sure you are not leaving anything behind when the sun sets and it is time to go back home.
